Host your event at 911:
Our intimate theater is perfect for film and video exhibitions, auditions, lectures and small parties. We've been hosting events in our current location since November 2005.

Location:
911 is located in the South Lake Union neighborhood. It's easy to find us, we're one block South of Beppo Restaurant, one block East of Glazers Camera, and two blocks North of Banya 5.

Capacity:
The theater has 48 fixed seats in back and space to set out comfy folding chairs in front. Our total capacity is 70+ (comfortably).

Technical:
The theater is equipped with a brand new stereo sound system and a video projector.
Projection formats: video projector.
Source formats: DVD, VHS, 3/4", Beta-SP, Mini-DV, DVCam.
Sound: CD player, 8 channel mixer, PA system.

Staff:
Included in the service fee is a projectionist to help you on the evening of the event. This individual is trained in the technical details of the screening room and qualified to lock up and set the alarm.

Kitchen:
A complete kitchen and two bathrooms are available. The kitchen includes sink, refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, coffee machine and water boiler for tea. Crockery and utensils are available (but you have to do the dishes).

Parking:
There is a limited amount of free parking on the East side of the building near the alley entrance to 911. There is also paid parking nearby, however, in the evenings there is plenty of on street parking in the neighborhood. This is a great aspect of our location in South Lake Union - easy parking!

Availability:
The 911 screening room is available all day on weekdays and all evening on weekends. This is a working space and it is only available when 911 workshops and screenings are not already booked. 911 events are booked quarterly. We cannot schedule events more that four months in advance.

Guidelines:
To help keep the price low on events we ask that users make an effort to clean the room when finished (throw out trash, vacuum, clean white board, clean surfaces, wash dishes, etc). Parties are welcome (no kegs or cheap tequila please). Washington State Law requires banquet permits for serving and consumption of alcohol.

Policies:
Pre-registration is a MUST. To reserve the theater a deposit of 50% of the total is required.

Cancellations:
Cancellations are required in writing (email or snail mail) 14 days in advance. A full refund will be given. A cancellation fee consisting of 50% of the deposit will be imposed if cancellation occurs less than 14 days of the use date. Refunds are not given if event is cancelled less than 7 days in advance.
