About 911's Education Program

911 Media Arts Center prides itself on more than 20 years of providing excellent training opportunities at affordable prices. Our education program offers year-round classes that encompass the complete spectrum of filmmaking.. From intensive, semester long video production and screenwriting workshops to evening and weekend classes on editing, sound design, motion graphics and the business of filmmaking, 911 offers a schedule as extensive as many university film programs. All classes are taught by working professionals, and are offered in progression so you can move from beginning to advanced topics. And since most workshops are held all year round you can learn at your own pace by taking advantage of our open and flexible curriculum.

In 2008 911MAC is branching out adding the latest technologies for creating media. We are expanding our list of classes to include web design, interactivity, physical computing and experimental video. New classes teach softwares of MAX/MSP/Jitter and ARDUINO.
